Hello!
This is an interesting issue to me as I've got one, dehoused at the
moment, since I was planning on attaching a serial cable to it before
trying something else on it.

Can you present (someplace) a complete series of instructions of
exactly what you did to get as far as you did? Including the size of
the stick that you used.
