[ARMedslack] Cross toolchain problem

Yeah I didn't think it'd be.

I've been looking on the web myself since last week and can't find many
problems with glibc 2.12 and an ARM toolchain - although it may be that
we're just ahead of the curve -- usually everyone experiences the same
problems.
I suppose I *could* try stripping the glibc configure options down a bit
to see if I can build a more bland one...

*Actually* I wonder if it's because of the linux kernel headers....
I will try with the older versions and see what happens.
