I've got mine. I have debian installed on it right now and was able to
cross compile Linux 2.6.30-rc5 and boot debian with it from a usb drive.
I've tried using this kernel to boot the installer initrd that came with
armedslack but no luck. I tried booting into debian and doing a
piviot_root onto a disk with armedslack installed (just extracted
really) but no luck there either. I need a kernel that will boot on the
sheevaplug and is happy with the armedslack binaries. Since the
sheevaplug doesn't seem to define its architecture by default you seem
to need something like:

setenv arcNumber 2097
setenv mainlineLinux yes

or a uboot bootargs entry that has the info in it. (DB88FXX81) If I'm
going to progress I'll need a kernel and the arguments to boot it with
on the sheevaplug. Where might I find this? Any hints? Or is there any
information on how to modify slackbuild scripts to work with the
cross-compiler so I can make armv5 EABI slackware packages that will
work with the kernels I already have? I can work with debian but I
prefer slackware if I can get it.

Michael.
